Why it's better than regular chess

Regular chess is largely solved in the opening. Memorize 20 moves and you're competitive. URC makes that impossible: every game starts from a brand-new back rank with brand-new pieces. You're solving from move 1.

It's the same game you already love — same checkmate, same castling, same en-passant — just with the opening book burned to the ground.
